Hour 14 of the ordeal and we can now breathe a sigh of relief here at the Iowa Blog Cabin. Chopper 13 was just hovering over head. This has to mean that help is on the way. Chet Culver, the National Guard, you name it...

Seriously... did Erin Kiernen really parachute out of Chopper 13 in a pink pant suit??? If so, that is the coolest thing I've EVER heard!
She did. Unfortunately this photo was taken right before she jumped. She wasn't in a normal parachute, though. It was one of those flying squirrel parachutes - batman-style.
